Launched in 2012 BLOOM! was founded by Marilyn & Nadine who have clocked up over 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. Having worked for many years for some of Malta’s leading hotels, they come with unrivalled experience in event planning and organisation. BlOOM! I studied languages and have lived in the US and Cyprus where I worked in the tourism industry. I have 15 years of Corporate Sales experience with CHI Hotels & Resorts. Here I specialised in business travel and managed key accounts for leading local and international companies including HSBC Bank plc, the European Commission and airlines such as Lufthansa, Alitalia, Emirates and Easyjet. Whether it’s big and small – simple or complex, my corporate account management and event management experience has covered it all!
Perhaps the most challenging but rewarding job was organising IBM’s meeting of 5,000 delegates - my hospitality skills and specific destination knowledge were put to good use!

I studied hotel management at the Institute of Tourism Studies in Malta and lived and worked in both London and Malta. I started my career at the iconic Berkeley Hotel in Knightsbridge, London, a jewel in the crown of the Savoy Group. Upon returning to Malta I joined the Island Hotels Group followed by Corinthia Hotels & Resorts. I’ve had 17 years experience in hotel operations, sales, marketing and event management as well as designing and launching corporate programmes in Portugal, Tripoli, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Before BlOOM! I was regional Director of Sales and Marketing for three leading five-star hotels in Malta: Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa, Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay and Marina Hotel.

Producing creative meetings and events requires a fun team and I am lucky to be part of one. When I’m not working (What! When?!) I devote myself to traveling, family and being a beach babe. I started my tourism career 23 years ago at the 5* Corinthia Hotel & Spa working in all parts of sales and marketing, including event management and operations. At BLOOM! I coordinate the office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to policies, accounting tasks and administration. I’ve gained experience in all parts of event management and I really enjoy being onsite on projects assisting the rest of the team.
When not showing off those pearly whites, she is either cuddling up on one of her office mates' laps, or hiding between the photocopy paper, collecting our mail or out and about scouting locations and happily meeting clients. Anything for a cuddle or treat.
I cannot speak highly enough of Nadine, both personally and professionally. It was a delight working with her, and an equal delight just to get to know her. She truly made our experience on the island an absolute pleasure, and Mr. Hanks and I could not have been happier with the level of service provided.
